    Has your manufacturing business considered hiring an apprentice?

    The WorkPlace in partnership with CTDOL Office of Apprenticeship Training, is providing a wage reimbursement for the first two months of the apprentices employment. Eligible manufacturing employers can apply for reimbursement up to 50% of the wages to offset the costs associated with training, up to $3,000 per apprentice per month.

    What’s an eligible business?
    A business located in CT that will register one or more eligible apprentices with CTDOL Office of Apprenticeship Training.

    Who’s an eligible apprentice?
    Young adults aged 18-24 who reside in The WorkPlace’s primary service region: Ansonia, Beacon Falls, Bridgeport, Darien, Derby, Easton, Fairfield, Greenwich, Monroe, New Canaan, Norwalk, Oxford, Seymour, Shelton, Stamford, Trumbull, Weston, Westport or Wilton.
