    Precision Machining & Inspection

    Preparatory Manufacturing Readiness “Bootcamp”
    Jan 15 – 26, 2024 (M-F) from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm

    Classes held at Platt Tech High School in Milford
    Starting 01/29/24 – 05/14/24
    Monday and Wednesday Evenings
    5:30 pm to 8:30 pm

    Tuition, course materials, and job placement
    assistance provided at NO-COST.

    Learn CNC programming, CNC setup, complex
    work holding, fixture development, CAM, print
    interpretation, GD&T, Lean Mfg., inspection, shop
    mathematics, and process planning.

    Academic and occupational skills training provided by Housatonic Community College
    (HCC) Workforce Development & Continuing Education.

    ApprenticeshipWorks is funded by grants awarded by the U.S. Department of Labor’s
    Employment and Training Administration and the CT Department of Labor’s
    Apprenticeship Connecticut Initiative.

    The total cost of ApprenticeshipWorks is $4.1 million over 4 years. $1.9 million (45%) is
    funded through the U.S. Department of Labor Employment and Training Administration’s
    Youth Apprenticeship Readiness Grant. The other 2.2 million is funded by the CT
    Department of Labor’s Apprenticeship Connecticut Initiative Grant.
